Y Felin features four en-suite bedrooms – sleeping up to ten adults in comfort.
As well as plenty of space inside to relax, there’s a patio for outdoor dining and BBQs, and a children’s play area outside, along with gorgeous views of the Welsh countryside and coastline.
Whether relaxing in the cosy lounge with a woodburning stove and Netflix, or taking it easy in the private Jacuzzi hot tub, it’s a fantastic space to unwind..
Relax in beautifully furnished space
Our beautiful converted barn has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The lounge area has three comfy settees, a woodburning stove and a smart TV which includes Netflix.
Upstairs there’s a mezzanine with more sofas – perfect for board games, or to find a moment’s peace.
The fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, crockery and all of the utensils you’re likely to need – alongside a beautiful dining table that comfortably seats ten.
Enjoy a restful night in comfortable beds
Y Felin sleeps up to ten adults. All four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms including towels and toiletries.
- Room 1: Double room with super king bed and ensuite with shower over bath
- Room 2: Twin room with two single beds and ensuite with shower over bath
- Room 3: Family room super king bed and two single beds on a mezzanine. Ensuite with shower over bath
- Room 4: Ground floor accessible room with twin single beds and ensuite wet room with shower
All of our beds feature proper sprung mattress and soft Egyptian cotton linen.
Two travel cots are available for infants.
Make the most of the outdoors
There’s plenty of space for you to enjoy outside. The patio has a table and chairs looking over the garden and children’s play area which includes a slide, swings, ride on buggies, a trampoline and table tennis.
If the weather isn’t so kind, the converted Cowshed alongside Y Felin has tables and chairs, a firepit and a BBQ. It also houses the laundry room.
The highlight of the property is the private Jacuzzi hot tub set in its own space. It’s perfect place to enjoy a glass of something refreshing whilst unwinding after a busy day’s activity.
Get out and about
Y Felin is located in a peaceful, tranquil setting surrounded by beautiful countryside.
You can explore the nearby beaches or walk down the footpath and visit Kidwelly castle, one of the best in Wales. There are also cycle paths nearby, perfect for exploring the area on two wheels.

Big Cwtch Shepherd’s Hut – PERFECT!
The Big Cwtch is in a private field and has a wood burning hot tub, fire pit, hob, fridge bathroom with shower, super comfy bed and the best views!! The hut was spotlessly clean and had everything you’d need for a great stay. The hot tub was a highlight. Could not think of a more perfect way to spend an evening than sitting there taking in the views with a glass of wine!

Fantastic family few days in the lovely barn conversion
We have just had four nights with a family group including four young children (aged 1 to 5) in the lovely barn. It was absolutely perfect and the facilities suited all our needs. The setting is stunning and in a perfect location for Pembrey forest and the coast.
